A couple of weeks ago, I was catching the tram with a partner at my law firm who told me that he didn't wear bow ties but that if I got into making hair bows, he would buy them for his daughters. I thought what a great idea! And then launched Gracie Kwan.
Gracie Kwan is named after my grandmother, who at 81 years old, also still works alongside my grandfather helping with the book keeping for the tailoring business.
Gracie Kwan hair bows are made out of a lot of the same fabric which I use for Edward Kwan ties, bow ties and pocket squares. They're also kind of large. I wanted to make a stand out bow, not a small little standard one. More like a statement piece.
I've had a couple of my friends in their 20's express their desire to wear the bows - which they're completely welcome to do. But I see them more as something for the little gals, toddlers and tweens. Check them out here.
